Black and White : These are my attempts at monochrome photos. Boy this it is really hard to get a good B&W photo. These have all been "converted" to B&W I will start trying to take photos in B&W as soon as I can really "see" in color first!! (LOL - those who have tried B&W photos know what I mean)

Tempe Town Lake, Arizona : Tempe Town Lake. These are photos taken during my lunch break me and a fellow co-worker would go out on Sundays and take pictures at the park. The park is really close by which made it pretty easy as far as not being too rushed. We only had an hour.

Flash Photo : For Christmas (2007) I bought myself a second flash a Canon Speedlite 430EX and the off camera cable. So this is my attempt at using two flashes (Canon Speedlites 580EX & 430EX). It is all very interest and for me a great learning experience. As I improve I will try my hand at actual photographs of people portraits, please stay tuned...

Natural Light : This is a hand carved chess set that was given to me from my sister-in-law. Pictures taken with natural light coming in through the livingroom window. The first few where post processed using Lightroom. The others I used DXO 5.0 I played with the WB on first few also trying to give the photos a more "cold" look (Chess cold and calculating). All commnets are appreciated and welcomed. Thanks

85mm 1.8 USM : This is just going to be a collection of random photos with a mixture of natural light and flash. I have had my 85mm f/1.8 for a while now and I have finally started to really use it, you know get to know it better I bought it to expirence the world of "prime" lenses. I am thinking about adding the 135mm f/2.0L and/or possibly the Sigma 50 f/1.4 since I have always only used zoom lenses "zooming with my feet" is taking some getting use to when I have time to compose and shoot I think, I like it...
